Mothers Can Receive Scholarships In Excess of $10,000 To Go Towards School!
April 1, 2010With a chance to receive a grant of five thousand one hundred dollars, America’s moms may soon be flocking back to school. In a move to increase the earning potential of working mothers so that they can help to stimulate the economy, President Barack Obama has decided to focus on getting mothers to complete post-secondary studies. This is just one of the policies in his stimulus package geared towards making good on his promise to promote education for all.
In essence, the scholarships are open for all low income earners wishing to pursue educational advancement. However, the President’s realization that many households nationwide have lost much of their spending power due to the current recession, has made it necessary to target working mothers, especially in light of the fact that many of the households affected are those led by mothers.
The money thus paid will be from the Federal Pell Grant, a government fund set up for the purpose of providing financial relief for low-income students. Complementing this initiative is the American Tax Bill that allows for a 100% tax-free tuition fee grant of up to $4000.
The scholarships are valid for online studies as well so, regardless of the demands that mothers may have on their time; most will be able to capitalize on this opportunity. This remains one of the many strong points of the policy. However the best point is that the money thus received from such scholarship grants does not need to be repaid in any form.
So it’s time for American mothers to go back to school entirely on federal funds.
